PSRA PRIVATE SECURITY OFFICER LEVEL 1 TRAINING
Having professional and well-trained private security officers (Guards) is an important requirement for anyone providing security. A well trained private security officer ensures the preservation of life and property, their corporate security provider, the industry and National Security. Guards play a critical frontline role in detecting, averting and mitigating security threats as they evolve.
Security Guards who are trained will be more alert and attentive to their duties. You want security guards who will be proactive, recognize threats as they emerge, intervene in the best possible manner and give accurate reports on incidences in a concise manner.
This course is developed from The Private Security Officer Level 1 Curriculum by the Private Security Regulatory Authority (PSRA).
This course is for Guards already at work, who have undergone training and mainly provides a Refresher training for purposes of compliance with the PSRA in obtaining Guard Force Numbers for Guards.
It is a blended course with both online and in class training. It fulfils the requirement for 40hours (5) days of training. Guards once registered on the platform will have access to the entire course content required for the training. They will go through the content, answer questions after every lesson and take a continuous assessment test.
After the completion of the course and passing of assessment, Elite will submit all the guards names to the PSRA where Guard Force Numbers will be isuued. We will then, within a week, submit to you the certificates and Guard Force Numbers.
